Purpose
That permission be granted to allow the legal
process of introducing a 20mph zone and Prohibition of Waiting
Order at the Prospect Heights development to commence.
Content
That it be DETERMINED that:
Permission is given under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 to advertise a legal Order for the introduction
of a 20mph Zone on Prospect Heights, Mossley, and, SUBJECT to no
objections are received, seal the proposed Order.
Permission is given under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 to advertise to make a legal Order for the
introduction of prohibition of waiting at any time on A670
Stockport Road and Prospect Heights, Mossley, and, if no objections
are received, seal the proposed Order.

Any unresolved objections will be reported at a
future Speakers Panel (Planning) meeting, otherwise if unopposed
the proposals to introduce the waiting restrictions will be
approved and legal Order will be sealed.
Reasons for the decision
To
ensure the safe flow of traffic and to protect intervisibility
between road users within the Prospect Heights development and at
the new junction of Prospect Heights and A670 Stockport
Road.
