To APPROVE the attached Order.

That
it be DETERMINED that the Legal Order attached (Appendix 2)
be approved to be made as advertised in the Public Notice
(Appendix 1) to close Rassbottom
Street, Stalybridge
from 12 February 2024 and the order will
remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the
earlier completion of the works, expected to take approximately 5
weeks to enable the maintenance and repair works to
the railway bridge and parapet.

Reasons for the decision

To
enable Network Rail to carry out maintenance and
repair works to the railway bridge and parapet over the
highway.
