Purpose

The report sets out an application which the
Director of Place feels would be more expediently determined by the
planning committee rather than the Strategic Planning panel despite
the scale of the development

Content

Pursuant to the decision of Full Council at the meeting held on
the 6 December 2022, it is agreed that the application can be
determined by Speaker’s Panel (Planning) because
notwithstanding the scale of the development, the matters to be
considered, in and of themselves, do not raise any fundamental
issues that would warrant consideration at a strategic level and
can be more properly dealt with by the planning
committee.
