Purpose
To approve terms for the deed of variation to
the terms of an existing lease of 54 Corona Avenue, Hyde.
Content
That
it be DETERMINED that a deed of variation be entered into to
include within the existing lease an additional term committing the
Council as landlord to give 28 days notice to the under lessee and
their mortgagees prior to commencing any action for possession or
forfeiture.
Reasons for the decision
To
respond to the lessees request for a clause confirming 28 days
notice would be given prior to commencing action for forfeiture or
possession. In return, a premium of £100 and costs totalling
£650 are to be paid to the Council. The ground rent is fixed
at £10 per annum and is unchanged by this
transaction.
