To adopt the revised Gambling Statement of Principles, following statutory consultation carried out under the Gambling Act 2005.

That Full Council be recommended to adopt the Gambling Statement of Principles 2026-2029. 

Alternative options considered

Failure to adopt an updated Statement of Principles would result in non-compliance with the Council's statutory duties and could undermine the licensing and enforcement decisions made under the Act
