Purpose

To support Tameside schools to convert to
Academy status

Content

That it be determined that the Council:

1)  
be authorised to enter into a 125-year
Lease in respect to the school site with the Emmaus Catholic
Academy Trust in the form set out in Appendix
2.

2)  
offers to pool with the Academy, in
respect of the pension fund liabilities in the Greater Manchester
Pension Fund.

3)  
execute any necessary Greater Manchester
Pension Fund for Transferee Admission Bodies
documentation.
