That it be DETERMINED that:

The Council procures a new contract for
water, wastewater and ancillary services with WAVE as the supplier and
utilising the YPO, ESPO and West Mercia Framework from 27 October 2024
until 31 August 2027.
The Borough Solicitor can enter into
and execute the contract under seal for water, wastewater and associated

Reasons for the decision

The existing water contract
expires on 26 October 2024 when the agreed extension period ends.  Tameside Council currently utilises the
Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation’s framework agreement with WAVE as the
supplier for water, wastewater and ancillary services.

A new arrangement is required
after 26 October 2024.
