Approval to enter into an
agreement with Civica UK Limited, via a direct award under the VAS framework,
for the continued provision of the Servitor system for a further 3 year period
commencing on the 1 July 2024.

Reasons for the decision

Tameside Council wish to enter
into an agreement, via a direct award under the VAS framework, with Civica UK
Limited for a further 3 year period commencing on the 1 July 2024.

This will facilitate the
continued provision of the business critical Servitor system for Engineering
Services.  Civica UK Limited are the
current provider of the Servitor system. 

Servitor is the primary software
package that is used to assist in the management and financial controls for
Engineering Services operations business.  The system is used for the monitoring and
financial control of all capital infrastructure works and schemes on the
highway network including the stores functions.
