Purpose

To note the issues with the previously agreed
scheme at Active Copley and to accept a revised grant of
£143,512 from Sport England under their Swimming Pool Support
Fund for the installation of solar photovoltaic panels at Tameside
Wellness Centre. The total amount of the grant funding to be
injected into the 2024/25 capital programme.

That it be DETERMINED that:

1.      
The grant award offer of £143,512 from Sport
England under their Swimming Pool Support Fund to install solar
photovoltaic panels at Tameside Wellness Centre be accepted,
subject to legal due diligence on the terms of funding,
and

2.      
The sum of £143,512 be included in the capital
programme for 2024/25.
