Purpose

To note the production of the draft Holcroft
Moss Supplementary Planning Document and approve it for a six week
period of public consultation commencing no earlier than the 1
November 2024.

Content

That it be DETERMINED to:

1.    
Approve the Draft Holcroft Moss Supplementary
Planning Document attached at Appendix 1 and associated
supporting documents for a six-week period of public consultation
commencing no earlier than 1 November 2024.

2.    
Authorise the Director of Place to make minor,
non-material modifications, such as correcting typographical
issues, to the Draft Holcroft Moss Supplementary Planning Document
before consultation commences, subject to consultation and
agreement with the other eight Places for Everyone
authorities.

That it be NOTED that the Draft SPD requires
Tameside to:

3.    
Provide as necessary, Warrington Metropolitan
Borough Council (as the responsible authority for implementing a
mitigation strategy for Holcroft Moss) and through an appropriate
mechanism to be determined, with S106 funds collected in accordance
with the Holcroft Moss Supplementary Planning Document.
