Purpose

To enable the council to enter into a contract
with Multevo Ltd.

Content

That it be DETERMINED that:

1.      
Approval be gained to enter into an agreement with
Multevo Ltd for the delivery of a highway network patching
programme

2.      
The contract should be in place for a 24 month
period with the option to extend for a further 24
months.

Reasons for the decision

As Highway Authority, the council has a statutory
duty to maintain, operate and improve the network on behalf of all
its users.
Engineering Services wish to enter into a contract with the
successful supplier, Multevo Ltd., to deliver highway patching
works across the borough, on the basis of delivering Best Value as
outlined in the rejected options below.
