Purpose

Approval of the proposed delivery
model/service arrangements for Adult Social Care (ASC) Mental
Health Teams in Tameside. This will ensure the Council’s
ability to deliver effective integrated mental health services and
the delivery of statutory social work in this service
area.

Content

That it be DETERMINED that approval be given to:

1.  
Redefine the integrated working arrangements between
Pennine Care Foundation Trust (PCFT) and ASC for NHS Community
Mental Health and ASC Mental Health team as outlined in Section 3
of this report.

2.  
That Option 2 of
“The Hybrid and Separate Functions Model with Teams Remaining
Co-Located” be approved, in line with the preferred option of
Pennine Care Foundation Trust, and the model being progressed
across Greater Manchester.
