procurement to continue participating in a Greater Manchester
Library Management System.

That it be DETERMINED
that:

The continued
participation in the Greater Manchester Library Management System
(LMS) contract is approved.
This is a joint procurement with all
other GM libraries, plus Blackburn with Darwin and Blackpool
library services.

Reasons for the decision

A Decision is required
to approve the spend of £117,000 over 6 years (4 years + 1
+1) to continue participating in a Greater Manchester Library
Management System and remain part of the Greater Manchester
Libraries purchasing consortium.
