Purpose

The Homeless Families Leasing
Scheme offers essential funding to reduce the use of Bed and
Breakfast accommodation for homeless families.

Content

That it be DETERMINED that:

1.     
The terms and conditions of the Homeless Families
Leasing Scheme Grant Funding Agreement (GFA) are noted.

2.     
Approve the acceptance of £0.383m of grant funding from the Greater Manchester
Combined Authority (GMCA) to enter into the Homeless Families
Leasing Scheme to provide 25 units of accommodation to alleviate
the use of temporary and bed breakfast accommodation and to enter
into the GFA with GMCA.

3.     
To work with the GMCA to monitor the
project.
