Strata - Joint Executive Committee

The Strata Joint Executive Committee (JEC) is responsible for making operational decisions for Strata, a partnership sharing ICT services between East Devon, Exeter, and Teignbridge District Councils. The JEC agrees Strata's business and service plans, provides strategic direction to its Board, and is accountable to the three councils as shareholders. It monitors budgets and oversees governance and performance, with support from the Joint Scrutiny Committee. The JEC holds delegated powers for Strata's operation, except for specific decisions reserved for the individual councils' Executives or Full Council, such as admitting new shareholders, winding up the company, changing its name, issuing shares, or significantly extending its services.
