Licence Agreement for Pitch Power work at Low Road, Dovercourt
November 28, 2024 Corporate Director (Operations and Delivery) (Officer) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Purpose
Harwich and Dovercourt Rugby Club has applied
for and been provisionally awarded Pitch Power funding by the
Football Foundation.
The grant funding is for a ten year period to carry out additional
pitch maintenance and improvement works at pitches owned by
Tendring District Council at Low Road Dovercourt.
Part of the grant award includes requirement for agreement of the
land owner in general, ongoing normal maintenance and, to allow the
club to carry out the works via a contractor. Provisions requiring
the Club to oversee risk assessments, quality and contractor
insurance are included.
The agreement doesn't provide for possession of land or for a
payment of consideration and is therefore, effectively, a licence
agreement.
