Purpose

It is proposed to renew a number of non-Zurich
Municipal Insurance Policies for a period of 1 year commencing on 1
October 2024. The current arrangement in place with the relevant
insurers was based on an initial 3 year agreement with the option
to extend for up to 2 years. This commenced in 2021, with this year
therefore being the first year to decide on whether to exercise the
option to extend or not.
The renewal prices provided by the relevant insurers are felt to
still provide value for money as set out in the separate report and
so it is proposed to extend cover for at least a further year to 30
September 2025.
