To submit a traffic
regulation order to the Joint Parking Committee for evaluation and
decision to go to formal consulation.
 

Reasons for the decision

In order to submit
an application for five traffic regulation orders, within the
District, with the aim to improve traffic flow, to improve parking
and reduce obstructions.

Alternative options considered

Not to proceed with
TRO applications but this would mean traffic problems would persist
with congestion and possible accidents occurring in the Tendring
District. Alternative restrictions were considered but were found
to be not as effective as the ones proposed.
