Purpose

Essex County Council has received funding from
the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and had
previously agreed to allocate some of that funding to the Council
to assist with the cost of employing a Domestic Abuse Co-ordinator.
Additional funding of £29,803 has now been allocated enabling
this role to be continued until 31 March 2025. This aligns with the
new Domestic Abuse service pathway recommissioning work.

timely access to specialist domestic abuse housing advice and

Option 2 - Not to enter into this Deed of Variation. However, this
Deed of Variation is being entered into in respect of funding
provided to ensure it is used for the purpose it was awarded.
