Purpose

Chipside and MiPermit software systems are
used to process off street car parking payments, penalties and
permits. The contract for these software systems is due to expire.
A procurement exercise in terms of renewal is under way but has
been challenged by some difficulties and is to be reset. It is
proposed to agree a six-month extension of the current contracts
while that additional procurement work is carried out.
