Purpose

To seek the
Portfolio holder’s agreement for officers to carry out a
six-week consultation exercise on the potential and proposed CCTV
locations (identified in line with requirements of the
Council’s adopted CCTV Code of Practice) under the Safer
Streets work programme.
 
To seek the
Portfolio Holder’s agreement for officers to progress the
required works to deliver the replacement lighting element of the
project (subject to the processes outlined in the
Council’s governance framework).

Content

(a)   
Authorises Officers to carry out a six-week consultation exercise
on the potential and proposed CCTV locations (identified in line
with requirements of the Council’s adopted CCTV Code of
Practice) under the Safer Streets work programme; and

 

(b)   
Authorises Officers to progress the required works to deliver the
replacement lighting element of the project (subject to the
processes outlined in the Council’s governance
framework).
