Purpose

The Point Clear Community Association have
brought to the Council’s attention the fact that bottle banks
located at Dumont Hall in Point Clear have been in situ since
around 2011 and that the community association does not receive any
payments in respect of the glass collected which is at odds with
the arrangement for other community sites in the District.

Following a review it has been determined that the site does meet
the criteria in respect of community sites and therefore should
have been included and receiving a share of the recycling credit
payments.

recycling site and to make a one off payment of £5,000 to the
Point Clear Community Association.
