Purpose

This decision follows a Cabinet report dated 6
October 2023, titled ‘Levelling Up Fund and Capital
Regeneration Projects - Progressing the Projects to Planning
Permission’. As part of that report, Cabinet delegated
authority to the Corporate Director Place and Economy in
consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth,
Regeneration and Tourism to procure appropriate resources and
commission a project team to carry out the associated work.
The procurement process has now been completed for the Site
Clearance Works Appointment, for the Victoria Street sites which
were flagged as scheme requirements to develop the sites and
progress design development.
The successful suppliers for these services are SRC Group.

Content

To enter into a contract with SRC Group to
provide the following works on two sites on Victoria Street,
Dovercourt:-

(1) Site clearance of rubbish and overgrowth;
(2) Site made safe for access;
(3) Initial surveys (topography and utilities); and
(4) Installation of hoarding to the site between Victoria Street
and Crown Lane and repairing the hoarding between Victoria Street
and East Street.
