Purpose

The Partnership has been formed in order to
coordinate and improve the supply of affordable homes in rural
locations within the county of Essex and this Memorandum of
Understanding formalises this arrangement.

Content

To enter into this Memorandum of Understanding
with the Rural Community Council for Essex, other local authorities
and other registered providers for the provision, management and
funding of an affordable rural housing service.

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - To enter into this Memorandum of
Understanding
Option 2 - Not to enter into this Memorandum of Understanding.
However, this Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”)
describes the role and responsibilities of the partners for the
provision, management and funding of an affordable rural housing
service (“Services”).
