Purpose

The Wellbeing Hubs in primary schools project
currently supports 33 primary schools across Tendring and
Colchester, most recently supported by funding from the Integrated
Care Board.
To further enhance the support to children within the Hub schools,
8 schools will be participating in a pilot to provide CPD training
to staff in meditation and relaxation techniques to be utilised as
part of each Hub delivery. This training will of course benefit all
children at these schools as staff can utilise the skills for any
individual or class/groups situation.
The Active Essex Foundation will directly fund 8 Hub schools to
participate in the pilot, with TDC providing ongoing project
support and monitoring of the required evaluation of the pilot as
part of the agreement. An agreement to be in place for this
purpose.
