Purpose

The building that is currently used as the
Harwich and Dovercourt Cricket Club is owned by Tendring District
Council and has been leased for over 40 years. The current lease
has been holding over for a number of years under the provisions of
the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. Heads of Terms for a new lease
have been negotiated and a Portfolio Holder decision has been
obtained, in respect of the grant of a new lease on the terms set
out in the signed Heads of Terms.
