Purpose

There had been a fault causing injustice by
virtue of the Council's placement of the resident in temporary
accommodation for longer than the period allowed. In recognition of
this fault and for the associated distress and inconvenience caused
to the resident, the order and recommendation from the Local
Government and Social Care Ombudsman that a payment in the sum
referenced by made to the tenant. The recommendation have been
accepted.

To accept the order and recommendation of the
Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman in respect of a
complaint investigated and determined by it - including to
authorise a payment in the sum of £1000.00 to the resident
concerned (reference 24 005 905).
