Purpose

At its meeting on 5th February 2025 (item 9
– Accommodation Update) the Freeport East Board approved the
proposal to seek written consent from Tendring District Council to
update its Registered Head Office to Scandinavia House, Refinery
Road, Parkeston, Harwich, CO12 4QG.

To confirm Tendring District Council’s
consent to the request from the Freeport East Board at its meeting
on 5th February 2025 (item 9 – Accommodation Update) to
update its Registered Head Office to Scandinavia House, Refinery
Road, Parkeston, Harwich, CO12 4QG.

Alternative options considered

To not provide the Council’s consent to
the update in accommodation of Freeport East Ltd as a member of the
Board. However, this would frustrate the good governance of
Freeport East Ltd.
