Purpose

The Council entered into a license to occupy
agreement and block booking arrangement in order that it may place
persons and families at 13 Beach Road on an interim or temporary
basis. These are persons and families who might otherwise be
homeless in accordance with the Council's statutory homelessness
duties.
As part of an ongoing review of the Council's provision of
temporary accommodation, a decision has been reached to end the
license to occupy agreement and block booking arrangement at 13
Beach Road, Clacton.
