Purpose

The current contract with Gasway Services
Limited (originally two contracts - one with Blueflame and one with
Gasway - until the latter company took over the former company)
expires at the end of June 2025 having been extended since its
original end date in 2021.
A full procurement exercise was commenced but was not completed.
Together with our colleagues in the County Council’s
procurement team TDC has entered into an access agreement with
Eastern Procurement Limited, a framework provider based in the
Eastern region founded by and specialising in services for social
landlords. Working with Essex Procurement Partnership and with
Eastern Procurement Limited we have identified a fully compliant
and competitively tendered framework from which we can directly
appoint a new contractor.

Content

To enter into a five year (3 year initial term
with the option to extend for a further 2 years) contract with
Gasway Services Limited through the framework provided by Eastern
Procurement Limited for gas testing, servicing ad repairs, and
other related heating work.
