Purpose

The Tendring Older Peoples Forum discusses
matters of concern to older people in Tendring and brings a variety
of partners together, including Tendring District Council, to seek
to address these issues. They are an independent constituted group
and have running costs for their secretariat and room hire and an
allocation of £2000 will assist them to run for the next two
years

Content

To fund the administrative and room hire costs
of the Tendring Older Peoples Forum, to the sum of £2000,
which will enable them to continue to support and engage with
relevant members of the Tendring Community for a further two
years.

Alternative options considered

Option 1 -
To fund the administrative and room hire costs of the Tendring
Older People's Forum, in order that they may continue to support
relevant members of the Tendring Community.
Option 2 - To not support the funding of the Tendring Older Peoples
Forum which may result in them not being able to carry out their
functionality, as before.
