Purpose

The consideration of the complaint identified
a service failing and as part of the redress a payment in the sum
identified was considered appropriate.

Content

To pay to a complainant the sum of £55
(the amount of one years garden waste subscription), as part of the
intended redress by the Council in respect of a complaint
considered at Stage 2 of its Corporate Complaints
Procedure.

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - The non-payment of the proposed sum
was considered. However, this was discounted as the merits for
making this payment outweighed the merits to not.
