Purpose

Cartons are currently collected at a number of
the brink bank sites for recycling. With the implementation of
simpler recycling in 2026 where this product will be collected at
the kerbside the contractor for these banks informed the Authority
of its intention to remove the banks in October 2025. This would
have left the Authority with no recycling provision for this
material until the implementation of the simpler recycling
compliant kerbside service in 2026.
