To enter into a contract on behalf of the Council with
Pyramid Solution South East Limited
trading as Pyramid Eco (Company Number 07622455, registered at 16
Beaufort Court, Admirals Way, Docklands, London, E14 9XL) to the
value of £156,335.

Reasons for the decision

Cabinet approved the Ten_04 Sunspot Solar
Panels project in March 2025, and delegated to the Portfolio Holder
to award the Building Contract
A competitive tender process has been undertaken in line with the
Council’s Procurement Procedure Rules
The bids have been evaluated by a panel of officers and appointed
specialist consultants, and consensus reached on a preferred
bidder.

Alternative options considered

Not to award contract: this would prevent the
project progressing to delivery.
To repeat the tender exercise: though a lower level of responses
was received than indicated by pre-market engagement, a strong bid
was received that is recommended for award.
Not to deliver the project: this would forfeit the funding and the
opportunity to reduce running costs for the tenants.
