Decision

1.    
That all necessary amendments to the existing Off Street Parking
Order to allow for the introduction of electric vehicle (EV)
charging points in the car parks mentioned in the existing Off
Street Parking Order be APPROVED, subject to consultation
and any other statutory requirement.

2.    
That the fees of 50p per kWh for the EV charging in Spring Gardens
Car Park be APPROVED.

3.    
That authority be delegated to the Director: Corporate Resources,
in consultation with the Lead Member of Finance and Asset
Management, to set the fees and charges when additional EV charging
points are installed across the borough in line with the principles
contained in the report.

4.    
That, following consultation, authority be delegated to the
Director: Corporate Resources and the Director: One Legal, in
consultation with the Lead Member for Finance and Asset Management,
to consider those responses and appropriate changes to the existing
Off Street Parking Order to allow for EV
implementation.
