About
The Joint Transportation Board acts as a consultative forum between Kent County Council and Thanet District Council on matters concerning highways, road traffic, and public transport. It considers and advises the relevant Executive on capital and revenue funded works programmes, traffic regulation orders, and street management proposals. The Board also reviews the progress of works, business performance indicators, and receives reports on local transportation needs, recommending and advising on the prioritisation of future work programmes.
