Purpose

Thanet District Council is a
Local Housing Authority with responsibility for a wide range of
housing services.
 
The council is committed to
providing high quality housing services and homes, involving its
tenants, leaseholders and other customers in the design and
delivery of services.
 
The proposed Housing Cabinet
Advisory Group (HCAG) will provide an opportunity to consider
strategy, policy and improvement options and formulate
recommendations to Cabinet in relation to housing
services.
 
The purpose of the HCAG is set
out in the attached terms of reference (Annex 1).

Decision

To establish a new Cabinet Advisory Group in
relation to housing.

Reasons for the decision

The proposed Housing Cabinet Advisory Group
(HCAG) will provide an opportunity to consider strategy, policy and
improvement options and formulate recommendations to Cabinet in
relation to housing services.
