About

The Council has established a Joint Standards Committee with all of the Parish Councils within the Borough to promote and maintain high standards of conduct.   To consist of eleven members of the Council, six parish representatives (to be drawn on a pool basis from amongst the members appointed to represent the town and parish councils) and up to two co-opted (non-voting) Independent Persons.   The Terms of Reference for this Committee are set out in Part 3 of our Constitution – Responsibilities (Responsibility for Council Functions).
