(Report of the Director of Street Scene, Leisure and Technical Services)

The report covered the outcome of the formal consultation on the Hadlow Parking Review, including objections received in relation to proposed parking restrictions and bus stop changes.

The report set out recommendations for each location, including where proposals should be introduced, abandoned, or where the views of local Members should be sought before a final decision was made.  The plans of the revised proposals that were taken to formal consultation were attached at Annex 1 to the report and the consultation responses at Annex 2.

Following consideration by the Joint Transportation Board, the Cabinet Member for Finance, Waste and Technical Services resolved that:

(1)        the recommendations set at paragraph 4.7 of the report be implemented, subject to the exclusion of the proposals for the High Street, Maidstone Road and The Square, Hadlow.
