Purpose

To seek approval to adopt newly identified
children's play areas under the Public Space Protection Order for
Dog Controls

Cabinet agreed to:

·        
Approve the inclusion of four new children’s play areas
not currently covered by the existing Public Spaces Protection
Order (PSPO) for dog controls in Torfaen to exclude dogs from any
children’s play areas on public land that have been developed
since November 2021.

·        
A further report which will give consideration for more
enforcement measures.
