Approval granted by the Strategic Director for
Children & Families to tender for a proposed initiative aimed
at developing a dedicated pre-birth service, supported by a
specialised staff team, to assist expectant parents facing complex
challenges. The goal is to provide early, trauma-informed, and
relationship-based support during the critical perinatal period,
delivered by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in areas such
as mental health, substance misuse, family support, and
safeguarding.
