Cabinet agreed:
 
·        
That the site
following sites (shown edged red on individual plans attached to
the report as appendices) be declared surplus to Council
requirements with effect from when each school moves to its brand
new premises:
a)         Blenheim
Primary School (see plan at Appendix 2)
b)        
Llantarnam Primary School (see plan at Appendix 3)
c)        
Ysgol Panteg (see plan at Appendix 4)
d)         Former
Kemys Fawr
Infant School (see plan at Appendix 5)
 
·        
To authorise the Legal and Asset Management Service to
undertake the disposal of the sites on the understanding that
completion of the disposal for each respective site will not take
place until after that school has been successfully and completely
relocated to its new premises; and

That further reports
regarding the marketing outcome of the four school sites be
presented to Cabinet in due course except if the preferred bid to
be recommended is at a price level that falls within the
constitutional remit of the Deputy Leader as executive portfolio
holder for Resources and Governance.
