Cabinet:

 
1.   
Approved acceptance by
the Council, on a “Subject to Contract” basis, the
offer of £485,000 (four hundred and eighty five thousand
pounds) conditional on grant of satisfactory planning permission
(for the developer’s scheme) and satisfactory intrusive site
investigation results.

 
2.   
Agreed that the Chief
Legal Officer and Monitoring Officer be authorised to negotiate detailed terms and
conditions for the disposal of the Council’s freehold
interest in the former Bellevue Nursery site and implement the
sequential contractual process up to completion.
 
3.   
Agreed to grant
specific delegated authority to the Executive Member for Resources
to determine any issues pertaining to the disposal of the former
Bellevue Nursery site that may require further executive
approval.
