Purpose

that apply to each option. The report recommends that the Torfaen
RLDP be withdrawn and that the Council prepares a Joint LDP with
Blaenau Gwent; with resultant administrative and governance actions
and arrangements being noted.

Council agreed, with the
majority voting in favour that, subject to Blaenau Gwent Council
formally confirming their decision to proceed with the preparation
of a Joint Blaenau Gwent / Torfaen Local Development Plan:

Resolves to withdraw
the Torfaen Replacement Local Development Plan (2022-2037) for the
formal planning reasons detailed in paragraphs 4.1 - 4.4 of the
report.
Resolves to produce a
Joint Local Development Plan with Blaenau Gwent County
Borough.
Notes that Officers
will undertake the withdrawal actions as detailed in paragraph 7.1
of the report.
Notes the future
actions to commence preparation of a Joint Local Development Plan
as detailed in paragraph 7.2 of the report; and
Notes the lists of
existing and new supporting evidence to be published by Officers in
Appendix 2 of the report.
