• To appoint 1 EWO and 1 EHE officer on a
fulltime, seconded basis from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 using
grant funding provided by the Welsh Government. Both posts will be
Grade 7.

• The EWO post will add capacity to the EWS team and support
with the discharge of EWS function. The post holder will also
support the core EHE officer to discharge the EHE function (this
will be funded from the EWO grant).

• The EHE post will add the necessary capacity to undertake
the ALN element of required of the EHE process. In particularly
reviewing IDPs as learners become EHE, maintaining LA IDPs and
organising reviews as well as supporting the wider EHE function
(this will be funded from EHE grant and ALN grant). Line management
of this post will sit with the EWS manager, but supervision and
training will be offered by the ALN, Inclusion and Wellbeing
Advisor.
