Council agreed, with the
majority voting in favour:

That on the basis that the proposed changes outlined
within this report have been agreed with the trade unions through a
collective bargaining process Council relieves Bron Afon of the obligation within the transfer
agreement (Section 14.11) to ensure either that it is an admission
body within the Superannuation Scheme or that it provides an
alternative occupational pension scheme certified by an actuary as
being broadly comparable to the Superannuation Scheme.

To delegate authority to the Head of Legal Services
to agree the deed of variation.
