To seek approval to create 7 new posts for
Torfaen HDRC as per the funding conditions and business case that
has been approved by NIHR.

To seek approval to create and recruit 2 x Senior Research Fellows
(SRF) instead of a Senior Research Assistant (SRA) and Research
Assistant (RA), as originally detailed in the HDRC business
case.

To seek approval to use up to £23,746 of the £30,000
annual HDRC contingency that was built into the business case if
needed, to offset the increased cost of employing 2x SRF instead of
a SRA and RA.
