RESOLVED to approve the response (Appendix 1) to the public
consultation on Stansted Airport’s Sustainable Development
Plan. 

Reasons for the decision

Stansted Airport is consulting on its draft
Sustainable Development Plan (SDP). The document sets out the
airport’s aspirations for the next 20 years and the
consultation closes 10 March 2025. 
 
The proposed response, attached as appendix 1,
has been developed by officers with input and steer from the
council’s Stansted Airport Advisory Panel (STAAP), chaired by
Councillor John Evans.
