The Executive resolved to:
 
(i)           
Recommend that the Council approves a budget of
£1,259,500 to be added to the capital programme,
£779,161 of which is LAHF Round 3 grant funding, with the
balance being funded from the Housing Revenue Account.
 
(ii)          
Approve the purchase of three properties in the terms set out in
this report, subject to budgetary approval from full
Council, and delegate authority to the Assistant Director
(Housing Services) in consultation with the Portfolio Holders of
Housing (Delivery) and Housing (Operations & Services) to
purchase the necessary properties to deliver this project.
 
(iii)         
Approve the change to the Allocations Policy in respect of the 3
homes, as set out in 10.4 of this report
 
(iv)         
Subject to budgetary approval by full Council, to delegate
authority to the Assistant Director (Housing Services) to tender
and enter into any contract to repair or bring up to standard any
property purchased under this project provided the costs can be met
within the overall project budget.
 
(v)          
Note the update of spend against the allocation of LAHF Round 1
funding.
