Purpose

As per the approved CIL governance
arrangements, the Executive is delegated to approve bids for the
allocation of Strategic CIL Funding, on the recommendation of the
CIL Advisory Board, subject to an upper limit of £2.5m per
individual award, above which approval reverts to Full
Council.

The Executive should consider the recommendations of the CIL
Executive Working Group regarding the Strategic CIL bids received
and make decisions.

Content

The Executive resolved to:
 
(i)           
approve the allocation of Strategic CIL funding for each of the
projects and for the amounts set out in the table at paragraph 7.20
of this report.
 
(ii)          
Delegate authority to the Joint Assistant Director – Planning
Development, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Finance,
Assets and Property, to complete any final relevant checks
(including those referred to in paragraphs 7.20 and 7.21 below) and
to negotiate and complete each funding agreement.
 
(iii)         
Decline the funding bids submitted for the projects set out in the
table at paragraph 7.24 of this report.
 
(iv)         
Note that three funding bids were invalid for the reasons set out
in the table at paragraph 7.14 of this report.
